Almond & Maple Sandwich

Ingredients
- Almond Butter
- Maple Syrup
- The Baker Whole Grain Flax Loaf
Directions
Spread Almond Butter on one slice of bread, pour approx. 1 tablespoon (or to
taste) of Maple syrup over it and spread. Put another piece of bread on top.
Apple Bake
Ingredients
- 6-8 apples (peeled and sliced)
- 3 cups of The Baker Muesli
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 2 cups orange juice
Directions
Place apples in glass dish. In a separate bowl mix muesli, maple syrup and
orange juice. Pour muesli mixture over apples and bake for 25 -35 minutes at
300.
Pecan Granola Pie Crust
Ingredients
- 3 cups of The Baker Pecan Granola
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup apple or orange juice
- Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Directions
Mix together all ingredients, soak for 3 minutes, and lay out granola mixture
in pie dish and press. Bake as normal.
Garlic Croutons
Ingredients
- Cubed dry bread
- Crushed garlic
- 5 - 6 favorite spices
- Olive oil
Directions
Sauté garlic in pan for 1 minute on low to medium heat, add cubed bread, and
coat cubes with garlic mixture. Sprinkle with your favorite spices. Spread
cubes on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 300.
Mediterranean Pocket
Ingredients
- Sprouts
- Crumbled Feta
- Seedless Olives
- Sliced Cucumbers
Directions
Cut pita in half and layer the sprouts, feta, olives, and cucumbers in each
pocket and enjoy!
Spelt Cheesy or Chreesy Melt
Ingredients
- Pesto
- Brie
- Spelt bread
Directions
Spread pesto over sliced Spelt, top with Brie. Bake at 275 3 to 4 minutes or
until Brie melts

Sunflower Toast with Fruit Spread
Ingredients
- Apricot spread
- Butter or butter alternative
- The Baker Sunflower Bread
Directions
Toast Sunflower bread, spread butter and top with apricot spread. So good in
the morning!
Cinnamon Raisin French Toast
Ingredients
- 3 cups of milk
- 6 eggs
- Cinnamon to taste
- Real Maple Syrup to top
Directions
In a medium size bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon. While
griddle is getting hot, slice the rolls and soak. Cook and drizzle with real
maple syrup and enjoy!
Vegan: Replace milk with rice milk and replace eggs with 1/3 cup flaxseed oil.
Vegetable Sandwich

Ingredients
- Large baked yam
- Sliced Large baked red onion
- Sliced Raw baby spinach leaves (coarsely chopped)
- Tomato paste
- The Baker Whole Grain Flax Loaf
Directions
Prepare yam and onion: Wash and leave skin on yam, removing only hard fibrous
portions. Rinse and leave skin on onion, removing only fibrous section of root
end. Don't dry vegetables. Wrap together tightly in foil, place on baking sheet
or oven-safe glass and bake at 325F-350F until soft -- about 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
(Or microwave according to your oven's instructions). Chill in refrigerator.
Remove from wrapping. Slide off tough outer portion of onion skin. Slice both
vegetables in round sections, about 1/4 inch thick.
Spread tomato paste thinly on both slices of bread. Layer baked vegetables on one slice, top with spinach and second slice of bread. Cut in half if desired. Enjoy!
